Adelaide Youth Orchestras Open Days 2017
Are you learning an instrument? Have you ever thought of playing in an orchestra? Go along to Adelaide Youth Orchestra’s (AdYO) Open Days to discover more.
Enjoy a behind the scenes look to observe and understand how musicians work with a conductor and prepare for concerts. Visitors are welcome to ask the musicians and conductors questions Q&A style. Light refreshments will be provided.
Each year the Adelaide Youth Orchestras (AdYO) audition over 250 musicians and places are now open for the 2018 season. In their four orchestras, they provide highest standards of musical training and performance opportunities for young musicians aged 8 to 24 years.

Sunday 3 September 2017 | 11am – 3pm
• Adelaide Youth Wind Orchestra (AdWO)
• Adelaide Youth Strings (AYS)
• Adelaide Youth Sinfonia (AdSI)
The venue is Madley Rehearsal Studio, Madley Building, Elder Conservatorium of Music at The University of Adelaide.
