And The Earth Sighed

An immersive installation by Josephine Starrs and Leon Cmielewski that presents the land and oceans as spectacular living organisms and shows the impact of human intervention on fragile environments.

This exhibit allows people of all ages to play with large scale floor projections as they observe landscapes filmed from drones. With a focus on delicate environmental areas where climate change is observable in real time, the installation reveals the underlying fragility of Australian landscapes and waterways.

Presented in association with Adelaide Festival, and the earth sighed is a free Festival event for everyone.
