The Australian Deaf Games are coming to Adelaide!

Basketball, netball and cricket are just some of the sports set to feature when the Australian Deaf Games roll into Adelaide from 9-16 January 2016.

With up to 15 different sporting competitions and a variety of events to celebrate Deaf culture, the 2016 Games are set to be the best Games yet! Up to 1,000 Deaf and hard of hearing people from all over Australia and neighbouring Pacific nations are set to come together in Adelaide for the pinnacle four-yearly Deaf community sporting event.

Whether you’re a champion athlete, a social player or just like watching from the side, you can’t afford to miss the biggest Deaf and hard of hearing sporting event in the Southern Hemisphere.  You’ll also want to check out the great range of social and cultural activities that are a part of the Games festivities.

The 2016 Australian Deaf Games is being held in Adelaide utilising the city’s many world-class sporting venues, with Adelaide High School hosting the Games Hub, which includes a comprehensive Cultural/Social Program and a Deaf Community Expo.
