Beach Clean | Sea Shepherd Marine Debris Campaign | 20 May 2017

Adelaide’s Marine Debris team are hosting their monthly beach clean at Glenelg Beach on Saturday, May 20th.

It’s time once again to come together like last year and join Hands Across the Sand.

If everyone works and stands together we can save our oceans and make a difference!

This is a family friendly event – everyone is welcome!

  • Live music
  • Guest speakers
  • Stalls – Sea Shepherd – The Great Australia Bight Alliance – The Wilderness Society – Ocean Jewels Dreaming.

Please wear closed-in shoes, bring a reusable drink bottle, hat and sunscreen.

Also, if you have a bucket, tongs and gloves please bring them along as the Sea Shepherds have a limited supply.

Following the clean-up there will be a “Hands Across The Sand” action to stand against Big Oil and say no to drilling in the Great Australian Bight.

For more information and all enquiries please visit the Beach Clean: Sea Shepherd Marine Debris Campaign Facebook event page.
