Brick-a-laide, Adelaide’s biggest and most comprehensive LEGO® fan event returns to the Adelaide Convention Centre on the Easter Long Weekend! A record number of LEGO® displays are planned for Brick-a-laide 2017.

The Adelaide Convention Centre will showcase more than 100 individual displays from around 60 exhibitors including some specially commissioned displays. Brick-a-laide will run from April 14-15, 2017.

Featuring a showcase of brick creations and displays from local and interstate modellers and creators, expect to see a wide range of creative spectacles and imaginative builds.

The two-day event, supported by Australia’s best LEGO® enthusiasts, will be held under one roof at the Adelaide Convention Centre – it’s going to be a fun-filled two days featuring displays, retailers, interactive activities for the whole family and a special ‘Brick Café’.

Hosted on the Easter long-weekend, Brick-a-laide has welcomed more than 50,000 visitors over the last two years following the event’s launch in 2015.

All the LEGO® exhibits at Brick-a-laide are owned and built by private collectors and fans and are showcased for the community to enjoy. Many of the exhibits are built purely from the builders’ imaginations and without any instructions.

Other attractions at Brick-a-laide will include LEGO® retailers, interactive activities for kids, competitions and life size cosplay characters.

Sensory Friendly Session

Brick-a-laide will also offer Sensory Friendly Sessions on Friday 14 April and Saturday 15 April 2017 at 8am and 4.30pm for people who experience sensory overload where everyday things like lights, sounds and smells can become overwhelming. This often includes people impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorders. They will provide a supportive environment with low volume music and announcements, and reduced visitor numbers.

There is something for LEGO® fans of all ages!
