Bump | Mother Mentoring Program | 2019

Raise Foundation is seeking special ‘Mother Mentors’ who are available to mentor a younger mother through a journey of personal development and growth.

Bump is a FREE mentoring program for pregnant and parenting young mums aged 13-25 years. Bump is different to other parenting groups – while facilitated by a qualified worker, young mums have the support of their very own mentor to welcome them, chat with them and be guided by them. Workshops are themed with activities such as scrap booking, cooking and arts and crafts.

Bump offers skill building in parenting, child development, budgeting, legal rights, education and employment, and much more. It is a fun way to meet other mums and provides some much needed “me time” with experienced babysitters on-site to play with the kiddlets. Bump is a truly unique program, aiming to leave graduates feeling connected and supported.

If you have children, are over the age of 25 and keen to mentor a young mum, please visit the Raise website HERE to register your interest and availability for the 2019 programs. Join the Raise mentoring village to give back to your community and families in need of support.
