Culture Space

Go to the Migration Museum on the last Sunday in July 2015 to experience the rich culture of the Russian community in South Australia. Hear the Russian Youth Orchestra demonstrate the balalaika and see a folk dancing demonstration. You can also learn how to write your name in Cyrillic script and learn how to make authentic Russian pancakes (blini).

Come experience something new at CultureSpace. CultureSpace – family activities at the Migration Museum. Drop in and explore the exciting cultures of the people who call South Australia home. Have fun taking part in various hands-on activities. Each month will celebrate the vibrancy of a different community group.

Last Sunday of the month, 1:30pm – 3:30pm

Language, craft & food sampling (1:30-3.30pm), balalaika performance (2-2:30pm)

Suitable for ages 5 years and over FREE – no bookings required (groups of 6+ please let the museum know if you are planning to come)
