Dinosaurs Alive! 2013

It’s an event 65 million years in the making; from Boxing Day Adelaide Zoo is going back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the earth.

Meet T. Rex, triceratops, and the entire crew of roaring, snarling, moving dinosaurs!  Your ticket aboard the prehistoric express will include the opportunity to come face-to-face with nine life-like dinosaurs, a fossil pit for young archaeologists to dig for dino remains plus tons of dino themed one-of-a-kind activities.

Don’t miss this dino-rific immersive experience!

Editor’s note: Dinosaurs Alive! is back in 2016 – read more here

2013 Play & Go review of Dinosaurs Alive!

Here are some pics of what you can expect to see at Dinosaurs Alive! below.

The Play & Go kids all enjoyed seeing the dinosaurs up close. You can’t touch them but you can get pretty close.

There are plenty of educational facts on boards throughout the exhibition area which will interest older kids who can read, while parents of younger children may like to read to them.

Just around the corner from the dinosaurs the kids can participate in some activities like fossil digging, puzzles and art.
