DIY Portable LEGO Kit with Free Printable Activity Cards

Whenever we go out for a meal, or anywhere which may involve some waiting, I’ve always tried to have a few tricks in my bag for the kids – snacks and something to play with.

This clever idea by Asia Citro of Fun at Home with Kids blog, fits the bill perfectly for any little Lego fans. It’s a small container with a handful of small Lego blocks and some activity cards for them to copy and build. She even provides the free printable activity cards. It’s a great way for little ones to learn colours, simple counting and matching.

What a great idea for when you are waiting for food at restaurants, travelling in a car or plane, or waiting for an appointment.
