FREE Parent Information Evening – Guardian Early Learning
Guardian Early Learning are hosting two information sessions at their Export Park Childcare Centre and Paradise Day Care, Child Care & Kindergarten locations.
First Information Evening:
Monday 24 September 2018 at 6:30pm | Export Park Childcare Centre
The evening will include a presentation from Speech Pathologist and Director of Lively Eaters, Emily Lively, with the opportunity to meet the centres educators and explore the beautiful Export Park Centre.
Emily Lively has worked with families across Australia, successfully changing children and family’s eating habits. With over 14 years’ experience within paediatric feeding difficulties working in both hospitals and clinics in South Australia, Adelaide and the UK.
The presentation will discuss the following questions:
- How to deal with fussy eaters
- Tips and strategies to get you through meal time
- How to develop confident and adventurous eaters.
Second Information Evening:
Monday 24 September 2018 at 6:30pm | Paradise Early Learning Child Care Centre & Kindergarten
The second information evening will include a presentation from Speech Pathologist lecturer and researcher, Dr Karyn Carson. Over the course of her career Dr Karyn Carson has worked extensively with children who have spoken language and literacy disorders, advocating for the early identification and prevention of these difficulties.
This presentation will discuss the following questions:
- What does typical speech and language development look like from birth to five years?
- How do I know when to seek help?
- What can I do at home to support my child’s talking?
