Get to know Cobbler Creek Recreation Park | 4 Jun 2017

Join the Friends of Cobbler Creek RP (FOCC) for a family friendly event at the new Kites and Kestrels play space.

Cobbler Creek Recreation Park is located at Salisbury East, with the main entrance at the corner of Smith and Bridge Roads. The Park has recently had an upgrade with new picnic, playground and bike riding facilities and toilets. Some car parking provided inside the park via Smith Rd entrance or along Bridge Rd. Consider walking, cycling or pubic transport.

Find the FOCC tent next to the Playground to sign in when you arrive before joining in the fun!

  • Plant a native plant with FOCC to help reestablish native grassy woodlands
  • Native Animal Shows by Animals Anonymous
  • Nature crafts for Aussie Kids with Kate Hubmayer
  • Nature spotting with The Bush Classroom
  • Guided walks tailored to all ages and abilities.

FOCC are a community group dedicated to helping protect the natural features and habitat of Cobbler Creek Recreation Park (CCRP). A volunteer group for 27 years, they aim to educate the community about the native habitat and fauna, and the Park’s recreational value.

This event is funded through the Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges NRM Board via an NRM Community Action Grant.
