Govchat your child's education

GOVchat | The Department for Education and Child Development (DECD) wants to hear from you about your child’s education

The South Australian Government wants to support parents to be actively involved in their child’s learning from birth onwards. DECD wants to hear your feedback about how to better support you to be more involved in your child’s learning.

Seeking your feedback – tell DECD how they can help you to support your child’s learning

No matter what background or skill level a parent has, research shows that when parents are involved in their children’s learning, it can have very positive results on their education.

What is GOVchat?

GOVchat is a community engagement event led by the Department for Premier and Cabinet when the government opens an 1800 telephone line for two hours on different topics so you can phone in and chat with senior executives, and Ministers.

Call the DECD GOVchat line on 4 July 2016 and give your feedback on what could help you to support your child’s learning

Parents are being invited to call the GOVchat line to provide feedback on what could help them to support their child’s learning. You can give this feedback directly to decision makers from government, including Education and Child Development Minister Susan Close.
