How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World | In Cinemas 3 January 2019

DreamWorks Animation presents How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, the third and final instalment in the trilogy.

Play & Go Movie Review

How to Train Your Dragon: Hidden World totally exceeds our expectations. The four year gap, while a long time for fans to wait for each instalment, has ensured a well crafted production, making the wait totally worthwhile. This movie is everything an epic animated fantasy adventure should be. Thoroughly entertaining and will touch your heart – this is a beautiful animated film which will be a favourite for a very long time.

Visually spectacular, exciting, funny and totally heartwarming – you’ll be completely swept up in this epic adventure. It’s a wholesome family movie portraying friendship and love in its greatest form and spanning over different worlds. As the last of the trilogy it ticks all the boxes and leaves you satisfied, but like any fabulous story, you just wish it wouldn’t end. This is a must see movie this Summer.

We saw the preview a little while ago and the kids have been waiting for 3 January to arrive so that we can go see it again. If you’re a fan, we think you will love it as much as we do. If you have never seen the previous movies, don’t worry, the movie is fine as a stand alone film, but you are sure to want to see the previous instalments too.

Scary bits – for little ones, there are some scenes with ferocious looking dragons and a fight scene.

You may also need some tissues.

Movie Info from DreamWorks:

From DreamWorks Animation comes the highly anticipated culmination of one of the most popular animated franchises in film history, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. What began as an unlikely friendship between an adolescent Viking and a fearsome Night Fury dragon has become an epic trilogy spanning their lives. In this next chapter, Hiccup and Toothless will finally discover their true destinies: the village chief as ruler of Berk alongside Astrid, and the dragon as leader of his own kind. As both ascend, the darkest threat they’ve yet faced—as well as the appearance of a female Night Fury—will test the bonds of their relationship like never before.

For How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, series director Dean DeBlois returns alongside the all-star cast. The film is produced by Brad Lewis (Ratatouille, ANTZ) and How to Train Your Dragon series producer Bonnie Arnold (Toy Story, Tarzan).
