Cupcakes in the Carpark – a delicious combination!

Break out the star nozzles and colouring gels … the annual All Hallows Anglican Church Carpark Fair is on again on Saturday 24 October and this year will celebrate baking and decorating expertise in a special Junior Cupcake Competition.

Junior bakers will be judged on taste, texture, quality of icing and decoration with the only proviso being don’t limit your imagination!

There will be three prizes awarded in each of two age groups: children under 9 years and children 9 – 13 years.

Six cupcakes should be delivered between 5 pm and 7 pm on Friday 23 October to the Office of the Anglican Church of All Hallows, 37 Coromandel Parade, Blackwood, accompanied by a completed entry form and $2 entry fee.

Each entrant will be provided with a white plate and a choice of gold, silver or white paper doily to best display their creations.

Cupcakes may be made with assistance, but icing and decoration must be solely the work of the junior entrant.

Winners will be selected at a private judging later that evening by three independent judges and will be displayed at the Carpark Fair until 2pm.
