Loxton Lights Festival

Christmas is a magical time, full of enchantment, celebration and family. Now in its 27th year, the Loxton Lights Festival will once again showcase the joyous festive season for locals and visitors alike.

An enormous Christmas tree dazzles in the heart of town and from there, large clusters of residential streets feature homes adorned with over 350 illuminated Christmas scenes, paintings and coloured light displays. Wander the shopping precinct and soak up the atmosphere of the festive season with music playing in East Terrace. Delight at the beautifully decorated shops that explode with gifts for all the family .

Loxton is situated in the Riverland of South Australia. A 2½ hour drive east of Adelaide, Loxton is a popular destination for sheer relaxation, indulgences in food and wine, aquatic and outdoor activities and of course our fabulous Christmas Festival.
