A family-friendly festival of invention and creativity, this year’s Maker Faire Adelaide will be held on 6 November 2016. Last year’s event attracted over 5000 visitors and more are expected this year.

What is a Maker Faire?

It’s the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth—a family-friendly festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement.

What will you see at Maker Faire Adelaide?

There will be over 100 displays of ideas and creativity, that will surprise and delight. Maker Faire Adelaide will be a chance to meet makers, ask questions, and see old crafts and new technologies side by side. There will also be opportunities to get hands-on at workshops and a world class speakers program that will entertain the brain.

How much does it cost to go to Maker Faire Adelaide?

Adults $5, kids go free.

Please note that some makers might charge for materials you use during workshops.

Maker Faire Adelaide will be fun for the whole family

Kids of all ages love Maker Faire.

There will be workshops and demonstrations and places to rest, play and watch while grabbing some refreshments.
