Mercedes College - The Right Environment in the Early Years

Mercedes College – The Right Environment for Early Years

The Mercedes College mid-year intake nurtures, inspires and excites children for a fulltime transition into Reception the following year. It caters for children with birthdays from 1 May to 31 October and allows them to adapt to school at their own pace in a supportive and positive environment, attending either three, four or five days per week.

The curriculum is play based and developed especially for this critical stage of development between kindergarten and Reception.

It gives children the advantage of familiarising themselves with school while developing a strong sense of identity, the skills to be confident and effective communicators and an essential foundation in literacy and numeracy.

Children have access to the College’s resources and specialist teachers. Their learning environments, both inside and out, are designed to stimulate and promote a lifelong love of learning, curiosity, wellbeing, friendship and community.
