What is CultureSpace at the Adelaide Migration Museum?

CultureSpace is an exploration of culture and community at the Migration Museum. You can drop in and experience the diverse and exciting cultures of the people who call South Australia home, and enjoy various activities and displays. Each month will celebrate the vibrancy of a different community group.

Come to the Migration Museum on Sunday 12 June to experience the rich and diverse culture of the small but vibrant Mexican community in South Australia.

What’s on at the Migration Museum’s Mexican Fiesta?

13.30 – 13.40 Welcome to general public

13.40 – 14.00 Food preparation ‘How to make Guacamole’ with tasting at the end of the class.

14.00 – 14.30 Traditional Mexican Music.

14.30 – 14.50 Loteria! (Bingo-like traditional Mexican game for the whole family).

14.50 – 15.15 Traditional Mexican ‘pan’ tasting.

15.15 – 15.30 Traditional Mexican Dance / Closure.
