Q&A With NBA Basketball Champion and Olympian Patty Mills | Colonnades Shopping Centre | 1 Aug 2017

South Australian basketball fans will have the chance to meet one of their Australian heroes with NBA basketball champion Patty Mills coming to Colonnades.

Patty will be conducting a Q&A session plus signing his two new books, Patty Hits the Court and Patty and the Shadows.

In an interactive Q&A session hosted by Olympic medal winner and former Australian Opal, Rachael Sporn, visitors will also have the chance to hear about Patty’s on-court experiences at the Olympics, winning an NBA Championship with the San Antonio Spurs and penning the first two books in his Game Day! series.

Game Day! is a fun basketball series for 6-9 years olds that will entertain young readers and inspire young players to achieve their goals through sport.

The books follow sport-mad kid Patty Mills as he practices his basketball skills and improves his dreams of playing professionally like his uncle Danny.

Patty is the only Indigenous Australian to win an NBA Championship. He is also a triple Olympian (Beijing, London, Rio) and currently represents the Australian Boomers.

Also attending the signing is South Australian co-author Jared Thomas.
