Come and see the significant part railways played in Australia’s war effort.

From the transport of war equipment, to troop trains transporting soldiers and nurses; railways played a significant part in Australia’s war effort. The National Railway Museum is hosting the Workshops Railway Museum travelling exhibition Railways 1914-18, which complements their latest exhibit South Australian Railways and the World War Years.
