START on Tour – Port Augusta & Roxby Downs

The Art Gallery of South Australia’s popular program for children and families, START at the Gallery, hits the road heading to Port Augusta and Roxby Downs as part of TARNANTHI: Festival of Contemporary Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Art.

Suitable for kids aged 3 to 12 years, the START pop-up workshops have been inspired by the collaborative work of art Kulila (pictured) which will be presented at the Art Gallery of South Australia as part of TARNANTHI this October.

Join in and create soft sculpture self-portraits inspired by the Yarrenyty Arltere Artists sculptures at the Port Augusta Fountain Gallery on Thursday 14 September from 11am-4pm or at the Roxby Downs pop-up Market Day on Saturday 16 September from 8am-12noon.

Presented in collaboration with SILPAG (Suicide Intervention and Life Promotion Action Group) for R U OK? Day.

Complimentary tea, coffee and BBQ food provided.

No bookings required, for more information visit the Art Gallery of SA website or call 8207 7578.
