State Rescue Challenge | SES | 27 May 2017

The State Rescue Challenge is an opportunity for SES volunteers to undertake a range of challenging scenarios to maintain their skills and to be selected to represent South Australia at the National Disaster Rescue Competition in Tasmania later this year.

The 2017 State Rescue Challenge will be held at AAMI Stadium on Saturday 27 of May. Members of the public are welcome to attend and see the SES in action undertaking a range of rescue scenarios.

There will also be displays of SES capabilities and sandbagging demonstrations. Volunteers and recruiters will be available to discuss recruitment if you are interested in joining and to provide storm preparation advice.

Members of the public are welcome throughout the day and there will be two tours with guides who will lead you through each scenario and explain what the teams are doing, focusing on the SES skills and capabilities being used.

The tours will be held at 10:15 to 11:30am and 1:15 to 2:30pm.
