Surf Life Saving SA and Henley Surf Life Saving Club are excited to present the Surf Sisters Mermaid Festival!
Celebrating the South Australia’s always evolving surf and beach culture, the festival allows female participants to enjoy surf sports in a relaxed and fun environment.
Adding to the atmosphere will be market stalls, street food, sunset yoga and live music. Be prepared, the Surf Sisters are giving this surf sports event a makeover and everyone (clubbies and the general public) is invited to join in the fun.
By registering for the event you’ll be able to participate in our surf activities including Boards, Swim, Stand Up Paddleboarding, Ski Paddling, Beach Events and you will also have the chance to be crowned Mermaid Queen of Adelaide when you win the swim like a mermaid race. Yes you heard us, a mermaid race! All your years of practicing that mermaid wiggle will finally pay off. Tap into your inner mermaid ladies, it just got real!
This event is designed for all ages to participate together and inspire each other. Come along and bring your daughters, friends, sisters, aunties and mothers, this is a celebration of lady beach lovers of all shapes and sizes and will be a moment not to be missed.
