Touch-A-Truck | Marion | 16 Apr 2019

Touch-a-Truck presented by City of Marion

Touch-a-Truck will bring more than 30 powerful vehicles to Marion Sports and Community Club oval from 9am to 12 midday on Tuesday, 16 April 2019 (during the school holidays).

This free school holiday event will see kids (and adults!) of all ages find out about the wonderful world of trucks by kicking the tyres, sitting in the cabs, and talking to the men and women who drive them.

CLICK HERE to see the list of some of the exciting vehicles you’ll see at Touch-a-Truck. There’s also a stack of free kid-friendly special activities.

Key Times:

9am – Vehicles ready and waiting and displays open

10am – Official opening by Mayor Kris Hanna

12 midday – Truck stop (event concludes)

To help children with autism enjoy the event, a sensory hour without vehicle noise will run from 9am to 10am

FREE Activities include:

  • Kids can try on space suits, helmets, and lab coats and have their photo taken
  • Mission to Mars hands-on activities, including identifying different rock samples and viewing materials under the microscope
