Truck-loads of fun at Touch a Truck in Noarlunga

Trucks in action are impressive. Their size, the loud noises they make and what they can do, move and build sparks the curiosity of kids of all ages. Children will have the opportunity to get a close-up look at a range of trucks at the City of Onkaparinga’s first Touch a Truck event.

This free interactive event at the Colonnades Shopping Centre carpark in Noarlunga (enter off Goldsmith Drive at the Honeypot Road intersection) gives children and families the chance to explore all the fascinating vehicles that work around the community every day.

Approximately 30 council trucks and vehicles will be on display including a waste truck, cat loader, cherry picker, backhoe, crane truck, excavator, grader and street sweeper.

The event will also feature face painting and jumping castles, and stalls on waste education and sustainability.

It’s set to be an exciting day for little truck enthusiasts and also those young at heart.
