Willunga Almond Blossom Festival | 28 Jul – 1 Aug 2018

Willunga Almond Blossom Festival 2018 featuring Family Fair Day, Fireworks, Street Parade, Market Stalls and Festival Lunches.

The Willunga Almond Blossom Festival has been a major fundraising event since 1969, when a local committee decided to raise money to build the Festival Hall. Today, proceeds from the festival continue to fund the maintenance and the continual upgrading of Willunga’s park facilities. This major tourism event draws families from across the state to enjoy the region with blooming almond trees, Saturday Farmer’s Market, plus historical buildings and the popular Fair Day weekend.

Festival Lunches will be held on Monday 30 July, Tuesday 31 July and Wednesday 1 August. Enjoy a tour of the almond blossom trees with the help of the Almond Blossom Touring Map then book a table with friends and enjoy a three course meal, starting with almond soup and enjoy a glass of local wine. Monday’s entertainment will be provided by the Tatachilla Lutheran College students and the Willunga Primary School students will perform on Tuesday and Wednesday.
