On Saturday 31st October, Woodend Primary School in Sheidow Park is holding a community fair to celebrate the school turning 20 years old.
The fair will be run from 10am – 3pm and will have rides, games, performances, live music, face painting, over 40 stalls, reptile petting zoo, food and drinks and free activities.
There will also be an historical look back at how the school started as a shopping centre and has grown in a wonderful progressive school for the community with nearly 700 students. Many local parents worked at the shopping centre so it will be of interest to both old scholars, current families and community members.
The event will be a family friendly celebration of Woodend’s 20 years and appropriate for all ages.
