Kodomo no Hi Japan Festival 2019 – Adelaide’s Largest Japanese Cultural Festival
Now in its 24th year, the Kodomo no Hi Japan Festival is a celebration of the cultural and social links between the people of Japan and Australia. It is a great day for people of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy Japanese music, performances, craft, food, martial arts and much more.
Children’s Day (こどもの日, Kodomo no Hi) is a Japanese national holiday which takes place annually on May 5, the fifth day of the fifth month, and is the final celebration in Golden Week. It is a day set aside to respect children’s personalities and to celebrate their happiness.

Admission: $2/person | $5/family
Free Parking is available, entry is via Ashwin Parade. Disabled Parking is also available, entering from South Road.
Everyone is welcome to go dressed in Japanese costume to this family-friendly event.
