Adelaide’s Largest Japanese Cultural Festival – Kodomo no Hi Japan Festival 2021
Kodomo no Hi Japan Festival was first held in Adelaide in 1995 and is a celebration of the cultural and social links between the people of Japan and Australia. It is a great day for people of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy Japanese music, performances, craft, food, martial arts and much more.
Children’s Day (こどもの日, Kodomo no Hi) is a Japanese national holiday which takes place annually on May 5, the fifth day of the fifth month, and is the final celebration in Golden Week. It is a day set aside to respect children’s personalities and to celebrate their happiness.
Free parking is available, entry is via Ashwin Parade. Disabled Parking is also available, entering from South Road.
