KYD-X is aimed at people under 25 (or the young at heart) with a disability, their families and carers.
The kids and youth disability expo is designed to allow people to become more informed of the products and services available, enabling them to make informed decisions about the treatments, therapies and products that would benefit them. The day will feature exhibitors from a wide range of organisations that offer products and services within the disability sector. There will be presentations from leaders in their fields, performances/demonstrations from disability arts groups and organisations with social inclusion programs. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in sporting programs.
Attendees will be encouraged to take ‘The Road Less Travelled’, visiting the exhibits of organisations doing amazing things in the disability sector and then enter the draw for some awesome prizes.
Also available is the KYD-X Service Provider Handbook showcasing the services and products offered by organisations to the disability sector which will be available at the expo and also through the KYD-X website.
Entry is by gold coin donation with proceeds going to Team Kids.
