Celebrate Summer with Outdoor Playgroup Adelaide!
The Outdoor Playgroup Adelaide is all about getting kids 0-6 years outside and reconnecting with nature. Playgroups are held in various locations four times a year, during the seasons.
Events are held between 10am to 12 midday at different outdoor locations in Adelaide. The day of the week will change, allowing working parents the opportunity to join events on days they are not working. This is more of a ‘community playgroup’ with some set and structured activities, but parents are required to supervise their children at all times and contribute where possible!
Babies and toddlers will get wet, dirty and leave hungry and exhausted!

Activities include:
- Splashing in the wading pool
- Slip and slide
- GIANT bubbles
- Water fights
- Sprinkler fun
- Ice play
- Milk shake station
- Giant interactive frog pond
- Mud sandcastles
- Loose parts play
- Exploring dry creek beds
- Story tree
Bring:
- Bathers (parents too!)
- Change of clothes
- $2 per child over 6 months
- Cut up fruit to share
- Hat, sunscreen
- Picnic rug if you wish
- Towel
- Sense of adventure
There is a large wading pool at Tusmore Park. Parents need to supervise their children at all times. A supervision ratio of 1:1 around water is recommended.
The organiser will set up and facilitate activities, but your own children are your focus.
