See The British & Irish Lions live in Adelaide for the first time ever, as the best of England, Ireland, Wales, and Scotland take on a united Australia & New Zealand rugby team for the first time in 36 years.
Witness rugby history unfold as the British & Irish Lions face a unique challenge against a combined Australia and New Zealand rugby team at Adelaide Oval in July 2025. This historic match that will see the North take on the South, the first of its kind in over 30 years, promises to be a true spectacle of skill, strategy, and raw athleticism.
The British & Irish Lions Tour is the largest and most prestigious Rugby Tour in the world.
The Lions will play nine matches over six weeks, with an anticipated 40,000 international visitors to visit Australian shores. The tour will consist of the Lions playing three Tests against the Wallabies, and six Tour games around the country – including the match against a combined AU & NZ XV in Adelaide.
The Lions Tour will be the first of the major Rugby events to visit Australia as part of the sport’s ‘golden decade’, with the tour to be followed by the 2027 Rugby World Cup for men, the 2029 Rugby World Cup for women, and Rugby Sevens at the 2032 Brisbane Olympics, all hosted in Australia.
The famous Adelaide Oval will host the penultimate Tour match on 12 July 2025, which will see the Lions play an invitational side comprised of players from Australia and New Zealand – the first of its kind since 1989.
