Alex is 3 and has been diagnosed with Meduloblastoma – a rare and highly aggressive form of brain cancer.
Late last year, following a month of illness which included vomiting, dizziness, lethargy and stumbling that was brushed off by several GP’s as a childhood virus, he was rushed to The Women’s and Children’s Hospital where fluid was discovered on his brain causing intra-cranial pressure. He underwent emergency surgery to alleviate the pressure which saved his life. However, the worst was still to come.

The Love For Alex Family Movie Day is a fundraising event for Alex Andonas to show love, support and awareness for Children’s Brain Cancer. The day will begin at 12pm with activities for children, followed by a screening of Disney Pixar’s Inside Out at 1.30pm. Tickets are $20 for adults and $18 for children.
All proceeds will be donated to Alex and his family in their time of need.
