MAMIE Book Launch and Garden Party

MAMIE Book Launch and Garden Party

Join Tania McCartney in Adelaide, at the beautiful Carrick Hilll Estate, for a fanciful garden party, celebrating the launch of Mamie.

Mamie is a picture book on the life of Australia’s beloved May Gibbs, and also celebrates the 100 Year Anniversary of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie. At the event, enjoy a beautiful morning in the gardens of Carrick Hill, with a book reading and signing, gorgeous crafts to take home, and a very special botanical cupcake and gum-blossom lollipop for each child.

There will also be a tour the brand new May Gibbs garden, and guests are welcome to wander the Story Book Trail and view the final day of the May Gibbs and Australian Botanical Art exhibition in the gallery. The launch will be held on the Cyprus Terrace between the visitor entrance and the house.

Kids are encouraged to come dressed as fairies, elves or gumnut/gum-blossom characters. They will also have the opportunity to meet some beautiful bush fairy dolls, and Mamie herself.

This event is FREE. Drinks and food are available to purchase in the café. Admission is free to Carrick Hill gardens and grounds.

Mamie will be launched by May Gibbs Aficionado and Jane Brummitt.
