New Mountain Bike Track at Echunga
A new mountain bike track has been been opened at the North end of Echunga Community Park.
Designed by one of Australia’s best freestyle riders, Ryan Lloyd from Lighthouse Youth Projects Inc., the 450m track is opposite Echunga Primary School at the north end of the Community Park. The track was built as an initiative to include facilities for local kids as part of the Echunga Township plan.
With a generous donation from a local resident, a community grant from Council, and enormous volunteer effort, the dream became a reality.
