NAIDOC Week at Adelaide Central Market – Let’s walk together for a shared future.
This NAIDOC week the Adelaide Central Market invites their littlest foodies to taste, explore and learn about Aboriginal food, culture and history as a part of their school holiday program.
Tuesday 9 July 2019 | 9:30am – 12pm (Grote dining area)
Contemporary Aboriginal artist Scott Rathman will work with the littlest market goers to produce their own original artworks, inspired by Aboriginal art and culture. This workshop is free and bookings are not required.
Little Market Chefs with Something Wild
Tuesday 9 July & Thursday 11 July (10am, 11:30am, 1pm) $18 per child
These school holidays, in honour of NAIDOC week, they’ll be cooking with native greens, seasonal fruits, herbs, spice and condiments. Little foodies will get the opportunity to smell and taste native foods and hear from the team from Something Wild, plus talk about the product and how it is sourced from the land.
