A new Skate Park is set to be built in the City of Adelaide
Adelaide is set to receive a new $3 million skate park to be delivered by the government and Adelaide City Council. Due to be completed in the first half of 2020, it will be integrated into the Gladys Elphick Park/Narnungga (Park 25).
The previous city skate park on North Terrace was removed in 2015 to make way for a Uni SA development. Since then, skaters and riders have been petitioning for a new skate park.
The park is located directly opposite the nRAH bordered by West Terrace and Port Road and is conveniently located close to trams which run along North Terrace. The park also has several multi-purpose sporting fields.
Although the skate park is still in the planning and design phase, this is great news for Adelaide’s community of skaters.
