Nice Mice School Holiday Event at Tea Tree Gully Heritage Museum
Stuart Little, the Rescuers, Anantole and Mickey – the literature of childhood is full of mice; clever little creatures who outsmart their much larger enemies.
Tea Tree Gully Heritage Museum’s Nice Mice event is a fun school holiday event as participants follow the mice trail throughout the Museum. Discover nursery rhyme mice like the Country Mouse and a Town Mouse. Learn about Beatrix Potter’s Mrs Tittlemouse, Johnny Town Mouse and the Two Bad Mice. Locate the Mouse Hole House and see if you can talk like a mouse.
As visitors explore 13 rooms, they can share the stories of these and other nice mice with their children and grandchildren. Each of the rooms contain stories, hands-on-activities, craft and more.
Tasty treats will be on sale and the Gift Shop will be stocked with unique mouse themed treasures.
On Sunday 21 July 2019 only, explore the outdoor pavilions and visit the working blacksmith. Wander in the garden and enjoy a sausage sizzle.
Entry: $3 per person.
