Parkfest
Parkfest is a FREE festival for young people 12 – 25 years of age who study, work, play and/or live in the City of Adelaide to recognise how awesome all young people in the city are. Young people from all backgrounds are welcome.
Parkfest is presented by Youth Inc., Adelaide Westend, City of Adelaide, Commissioner for Children and Young People SA and many other organisations. It is supported by Pumpt Indoor – BMX, MTB, Scooter & Skate, Fresh 92.7, Encore Event Technologies, Click Films, Venture Corporate Recharge, Barbery the Craft of a Barber Academy, SA Water, Unison Housing, and Jonny’s Popcorn Delights.
ParkFest will see Light Square come alive with FREE activities including:
- Skate and BMX ramps (with Pumpt Indoor – BMX, MTB, Scooter & Skate)
- Live Music Performances
- Mural Art Walls
- Haircuts (by Barbery the Craft of a Barber Academy)
- Rock climbing walls (run by Venture Corporate Recharge)
- Dance demonstrations
- Pedal Smoothies
- and much more.
Food vendors will also be across Light Square where you can buy your lunch. You’ll also have the chance to meet with the team who are working on delivering the City Skate Park Strategy.
