Think Pink!
Beach Road at Christies Beach goes pink for a week from 10 – 18 October. All to aid the fight against cancer.
During the week, businesses will be dressed up in pink with special pink days in their shop, while encouraging shoppers to donate toward the cancer appeal.
On Sunday 18 October at 10am the day kicks off with a Pink Market and a Teddy Bears Pinknic. The first 300 children to arrive will receive a free pink teddy bear. There will be kid’s activities, entertainment, food, and a range of unique market stalls. At 12 noon the hospital bed charity race kicks off with a challenge amongst local businesses all aiding raising funds to fight the battle against cancer.
Entry to the event is free, gold coin donation would be appreciated; it is an alcohol free event.
