Pirates of Port Adelaide Festival | 23 & 24 Sep 2017

It’s not often a whole city gets involved in ‘make-believe’ to foster healthy imaginations but Port Adelaide does, over one swashbuckling weekend in September. The Pirates of Port Adelaide Festival is a free family event.

The Pirates of Port Adelaide have taken matters into their own hands and are inviting pirates from near and far, young and old, scurvy and scarred to invade Port Adelaide in celebration of International Talk Like a Pirate Day.

The 2-day Pirate Festival, 23 & 24 September 2017, captures the imagination of all ages and invites all South Aussies to get involved in the ocean of possibilities for fun in Port Adelaide.

In case you’ve been on a desert island and haven’t noticed, Port Adelaide is THE place to be if you’re a pirate. The city has 2 Tall Ships, a ghost ship, a Maritime Museum and lots of hidden treasure. It’s also the perfect place for kids to imagine the thrill of adventures on the high seas and for families to dress up and unleash their inner pirate.
