Outdoor Playgroup Adelaide loves exploring creeks and its a great time to do them before they dry up! Head to Warriparinga Reserve for this ‘Pond Life’ session and explore the wetlands and creeks. Bring along any nets/catchers you have at home and be prepared for adventure. Don’t forget your hat, sunscreen and a change of clothes. Session costs $2 per child over 6mths old.
Activities will include:
- Catch and release tadpoles
- Sensory slime
- Wildlife hunt with magnifying glass
- Magnetic fishing
- Duck feeding
- Brid watching
- Bushwalking
- Nature craft
Bring:
$2 per child over 6 months old
A spare change of clothes and towel
Cut up fruit to share
Hat and sunscreen
Any nets/ catchers you have at home
Please park in the car park off Sturt Rd. There is a little walk past the living Kaurna centre, over a bridge to find the special spot where the goup will be. See map
** Please note creeks with water in them will be explored. All parents must be vigilant in supervising their own children AT ALL TIMES. The organiser is there to facilitate activities only (and will have their own toddler to supervise!)**
