With school back in session, plan some exciting weekend adventures close to home at The Quorn Quandong Festival packed with fun (and free) activities for the kids.
Enjoy markets, music, food and fun in the Quorn Town Square for the Quandong Festival over the weekend of 26 – 27 October 2024. Kids activities will also be available for all ages and abilities as part of the festival. No bookings are required, just turn up on the day.
Kids Activities:
Saturday 26 October 2024:
- 10am-11am: Bush Food Seed Bomb Making & Nature Crown Activity. Join the Quorn Landcare Group at Pithi Kawi Bush Food Garden for some hands-on fun.
- All Day: Powell Gardens Treasure Hunt. Grab your treasure map at the Visitor Information Centre and start exploring.
Sunday 27 October 2024:
- 10am-12pm: Bush Hut Master Class – Build a native food bush hut for nature play with Ben McCallum at Pithi Kawi Bush Food Garden.
- 10am-11am: Treasure Hunt & Rock Painting – Join Quorn Landcare and Dorothy Crosby for a fun kids’ activity at the Picnic Shelter in Pithi Kawi Bush Food Garden.
- 10am: “Hoppy the Magpie” Book Reading with local author, Bronwyn Filsell, in the reading circle at Pithi Kawi Bush Food Garden.
- 11:10am: Head to the main stage in the Town Square for Amber Lawrence’s special music show for kids.
