Skate Parks Rejuvenation
Repairs and rejuvenation of the Elizabeth and Munno Para Skate Parks has been planned for expected completion in 2021.
Originally expected to be completed by March 2021, the contractor has been unavoidably detained so the rejuvenation works have been delayed. Stay tuned on the City of Playford Facebook for updates regarding the new commencement date.
The contractors doing the work (Skate Con) specialise in skate parks and have collaborated with some of the top skaters to make sure they understand what works best for park users. This means the work will improve the skating experience and stand the test of time.
The works will include:
- Close and fence park
- Clean and wash area
- Crack repairs
- Joint repairs
- Edge repairs on ramps
- Skate FX coating
- Steel edge replacements
- Re-establishment of the park once complete
