Santa’s Wonderland Returns to the Adelaide Showground in 2021.
Santa’s Wonderland is a magical white Christmas wonderland with rides, spectacular Christmas stage shows, a magnificent ice skating rink, tobogganing slides, a Christmas activity trail and even snow.
This is one of our favourite events of the year as there’s so much for kids to see and do and it’s the perfect family outing to celebrate the festive season.

At this year’s 10-stop activity trail, children can enjoy writing and posting a letter to Santa, painting, bauble decorating, ‘reindeer food’ take-home packs, storytime from Mrs Christmas, and lots of photo-bombing by the cheeky elves and fairies – and of course, a visit from Santa himself.
In addition to the host of show rides, ice skating, tobogganing and activity trail, a host of favourite characters – including Santa and Mrs Christmas – will be centre stage with a brand new, specially designed show filled with singing, dancing and plenty of laughs.
Joining the glamorous Snow Queen, Santa’s cheeky elves, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, will be a new member of the team: the Wrapper Elf.
Set in the toy factory at the North Pole, he’s in charge of wrapping the presents, but this year he’s gone on strike because he’s frustrated seeing children tearing the paper off their gifts, without noticing how carefully he’s wrapped them. And all that mess is such a waste of paper… and trees! So, Santa’s little helpers are going to have to find Santa to help save the day… and Christmas! Will they manage to find him in time?
The all star cast and crew, includes an array of Christmas characters from elves, fairy’s, penguins, snowmen, princesses and Queens who are proudly recruited from local talent, acting, dance and singing schools in South Australia.
