SAPOL Free School Holiday Road Safety Program | 11-22 Jul 2022

SAPOL School Holiday Road Safety Program for Kids

The SA Police (SAPOL) have announced the return of their popular FREE road safety program for primary school aged children during the July school holidays.

Not all schools get the opportunity to visit the Road Safety Centre as part of a school excursion so the free holiday program provides an additional opportunity for children to gain vital road safety education. The two-hour program includes a classroom session and a practical bike riding session on the mock roadway to put the participants’ new knowledge into practice.

All equipment is supplied for free and the Road Safety Centre has a range of bicycles to cater for all riders.

The mock roadway is available for public use throughout the school holidays, unless booked.

  • Monday 11 July 2022 for children 5 to 8 years
  • Tuesday 12 July 2022 for children 9 to 12 years
  • Wednesday 13 July 2022 for children 5 to 8 years
