Schützenfest | Rymill Park | 29 & 30 January 2016

The tradition continues! The largest folk and shooting festival in the Southern Hemisphere is back – Schützenfest!

Rymill Park is set to come alive again with the colour and excitement of Adelaide’s annual celebration of German food, drink and entertainment!

From 4.00pm Friday 29 January and 12 noon on Saturday 30 January 2016, there really is something for the whole family. Kids entertainment all day Saturday and special guests JEBEDIAH will be getting the party started on Friday night!

Not to mention Adelaide’s finest oompah bands and traditional German entertainment and dancing all day and night!

Tantalise your tastebuds with scrumptious German fare such as wurst (sausages), Schweinshaxe (pork knuckle) and of course, sauerkraut and wash it all down with some local and imported beers! Don’t forget the air rifle shooting which is what it is all about! This is your chance to be crowned the King or Queen of Schützenfest.
