Science at the Bay – Discover, Invent, Create

Science at the Bay is a celebration of all thing’s science and technology featuring a range of free activities.

The City of Holdfast Bay Libraries has a jam-packed week full of events for all ages. With discoveries to be made, inventions to be created, and prizes to be won, there will be an array of activities to suit everyone. This includes a different craft and technology activity to create at Glenelg Library each day after school and a discovery table at Brighton Library.

There will also be magnifying glasses and digital microscopes out on display for kids to see all kinds of items up close – from fauna to material. There will be a scavenger hunt available at Brighton Library at all times throughout the week, where kids answer questions and learn about some of Australia’s scientists and inventors.

There will also be a Science theme for the regular Storytime program.
