Sculpture for Interiors and Gardens III | Stangate House | 27 Apr – 6 May 2018

Sculpture for Interiors and Gardens III at Stangate House, Aldgate

The Rotary Club of Stirling takes pleasure in announcing its third annual sculpture exhibition – Sculpture for Interiors & Gardens III. It will take place in Stangate House and Gardens at Aldgate in the Adelaide Hills from 27 April until 6 May 2018.

Open to the public, twenty well-known and emerging artists have been invited by Curator Tim Boon to exhibit sculptures suited to the home and garden.  Activities to engage children in the exploration of the sculptures will be on offer. David Hamilton has made a beautiful Blue Wren for a Silent Auction and Deborah Miller, a shimmering Sea Dragon will also be offered by Silent Auction. The autumn garden is a joy to behold and the work in the exhibition will be a testimony to the amazing store of talent in SA.

As with previous exhibitions, there will be no entry charge. Once again, the ShelterBox charity, which does such sterling work when disaster strikes remote communities, be it flood, earthquake or tsunami, will be the principal recipient of the funds generated.

As well as a stunning display of sculpture in the house and scattered over the lawns and flowerbeds, visitors to Sculpture for Interiors & Gardens III can enjoy:

♥  A pop up Cellar Door where award winning wines made by Tapanappa may be sampled and purchased

♥  People’s Choice prize sponsored by Tapanappa

♥  Guest exhibitor: Sculpture by Adelaide Hills born Tasmania based sculptor Ben Tolhurst will be shown alongside more than twenty of S.A’s finest

♥  Silent Sculpture Auction

♥  Family event on Sunday, 29 April 2018
