Sensory Friendly Day Dave Court’s HOUSE PARTY | Praxis Artspace | 11 Jul 2021

house party

Praxis Artspace invites you to a low sensory experience of Dave Court’s HOUSE PARTY.

HOUSE PARTY is Court’s latest body of work, based off his reclamation of an aging hills home, which will be reimagined through projection onto walls, sculptural pieces, paintings, and virtual and augmented realities, able to be experienced by Gallery attendees, as well as audiences online.

From 12-4pm Sunday July 11, the lights will be dimmed and the sound will be turned off, so that this immersive multimodal exhibition can be experienced in a quieter, less overwhelming way.

Sensory friendly hours will continue each Saturday morning 10-11am for the duration of the show.

For this special event, HOUSE PARTY will feature a tactile sculptural work. This playful Styrofoam piece is a collaboration between Court and Arlon Hall.

This event is free to attend.
